Privacy Policy

rindbystrand.dk is the website of a private holiday home on Fanø. It is not run as a business and has no company registration number.

If you write via the contact form, the person behind the house is the controller of the personal data you send.

What we process

We only process what you enter in the form – typically name, phone number, email, dates, package interest and a message. The hosting provider may also store technical server logs (such as IP address and time) needed to run the site.

Why

The information is used only to reply to your enquiry about a stay. The legal basis is that processing is necessary to handle your request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Statistics cookies are loaded only if you consent in the cookie bar (art. 6(1)(a)).

Retention and sharing

Enquiries are kept while the conversation is relevant and then deleted, unless a stay is agreed and we need the correspondence. We do not sell or share your data for marketing. Hosting and – if you accept cookies – Google Tag Manager may process technical data, including outside the EU/EEA.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction or deletion via the contact form. You may also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

Cookies

A necessary cookie stores your cookie choice. Statistics (Google Tag Manager) run only after you accept. You can change this under Cookie settings in the footer. More detail is in the cookie bar.
